Family Camp

Camp F.A.C.E.S. PTSD Family Retreats are an easygoing blend of structure and choice, giving you and your family a chance to play, relax, re-discover, learn and share with other families.

You will arrive at camp in late afternoon, giving just enough time to settle in and meet other families at camp before a delicious dinner. The evening will include games, a campfire, and tasty snacks. Late-night programing offer families options to wind down as you choose.

Each morning you can participate in a morning reflection session and/or take a refreshing nature walk, do yoga or gentle streching, before enjoying a sumptuous breakfast.

The morning and afternoon program sessions will feature a variety of options suitable for a wide age range, including fishing, swimming, arts and crafts, wellness sessions and more. Younger children will be accompanied to their age-appropriate programs, while the older kids and teens are welcome to participate independently.  If you want to have some free time to nap or hang-out as a family, you can do that too; none of the sessions are mandatory.

After dinner enjoy camp-wide activities that gets families up and moving. Join us as we gather for snacks and campfire, games and maybe even a talent show, where you or your children can perform your favourite talents or songs and enjoy being goofy together.

Optional late night programming will be offered for parents who want to enjoy a relaxing campfire.

On our last day and before packing up your belongings and enjoying lunch, there will be an opportunity to squeeze in one last round of activities to load up on family fun and memories that last!
